Opera, and its sister club are arguably the most exclusive and hottest nightclubs in the history of Hollywood. Old school impresario David Judaken--who tempted clubgoers with the Garden of Eden, and much later Mood--has created a sensational spot on Shrader. Not even remotely recognizable from its barn-like days as Vynyl or club 1650, the redesigned spot has gone very upscale. Lines build in advance of opening and stay firmly entrenched there throughout the night. Those who make it past the rope step through a fabulous Fogscreen, and into myriad of archways and candlelight.
